David Wan, exorcist, does a good job and provides a principled service. Part of that includes the firm knowledge that there’s no room in his world for those who try to communicate with the dead. Maybe the dead do speak, but if so no one hears them. That’s what he’s always believed. Until he meets a channeller on a job who seems to know more than he possibly could. As he learns more, it becomes clear he will have to pit his beliefs against a gift he never thought possible - all while the embers of a long-past tragedy linger.
